The attention of the University Management has been drawn to some trending fake portals on Staff recruitment for Lagos State University.
Management hereby dissociates the University from the said portals noting that they are fake and intended only to steal the details, and also defraud unsuspecting members of the general public.
Management further advises members of the University Community and the general public to verify any information relating to the University on the main University Website, www. lasu.edu.ng and the University official social media pages.
These platforms are updated on DAILY basis as news item exist and are the most credible source of information about the university.
For the avoidance of doubt, the official social media platforms of the university are as follows:
The management of the Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH) has released the Higher National Diploma (HND) admission list for the 2021/2022 academic session.
DIGITAL SCHOOL UPDATE confirmed this Information as HND Applicants received Congratulatory message via the Gmail mail box and the school portal.
Applicants are expected to check their Gmail mailbox and their school portal subsequently in order to be aware if they have been considered for Admission or not.
Candidates that applied for admission into LASPOTECH HND programmes can now check their admission status.
2. Supply your username (i.e name used during the application) and password (i.e Surname – eg. if your surname is Fela, password is felapass) in the required columns.
3. Finally, click on the login to access your LASPOTECH HND admission status.
Newly Admitted students are Instructed to accept the Admission offer and print out the Admission letter.

The Vice Chancellor on behalf of the Senate has approved the reviewed Academic calender for the First and second semester of 2020/22 Academic Session as Indicated below.(see second paragraph for the Academic calender)
According to the newly reviewed Academic calender,the first semester was scheduled to span for roughly a month as it will commence as from the 30th January,2022 and end on 26th of February,2022.
SUMMARY OF FIRST SEMESTER
Number of weeks already spent: Thirteen weeks (13).
Examination: Four weeks (4)
Total: Seventeen weeks (17)
Please note that All public holidays within the Academic calender shall be observed.
SECOND SEMESTER
The second semester is expected to commence consequently after the successful completion of the first semester Examination as it was stated in the newly reviewed Academic calender.
The said semester will span for 16 weeks, starting as from 27th of February,2022 to 18th of June,2022.
CANDIDATES WHOSE O’LEVEL RESULTS ARE YET TO BE UPLOADED ON JAMB CAPS
This is to inform the general public,especially candidates whose particulars are indicated hereunder that as of today, Friday,January 14, 2022, their O’level results, which is 15% component of the total aggregates score for admission, are yet to be uploaded on JAMB CAPS. Implication of this is that,the concerned candidates’ applications to various programmes in the university cannot be processed further
The concerned candidates are hereby advised in their own interest to as a matter of utmost urgency visit any JAMB accredited CBT Centre to upload their O’level results on or before Friday, January 21, 2022. Once this is done, the Registrar should be informed through this email: admissions@lautech.edu.ng. indicating their JAMB registration numbers. Failure to comply with this instruction will lead to non-processing of their applications for admission.
